This book was previously owned by Jaques Schurre who I believe from investigation, was a lawyer and collector of art.
It does have his name inscribed
It was limited in printing to 501 copies with 451 of these being offered for sale. This copy is number 444
The book itself is in fantastic condition. No stains no tears. Almost pristine.
The case that holds it has done it's job well and it shows!!
There are tears and creases and staining to this box. Thank God the book was protected.!!!
